Condor S2, Print and Social
CONDOR is based on the novel Six Days of the Condor by James Grady, the screenplay Three Days of the Condor by Lorenzo Semple Jr. and David Rayfiel, and the 1975 Sydney Pollack political thriller. Season 1 of the Audience Networks series follows young CIA analyst Joe Turner (Max Irons) who stumbles onto a terrible plan that threatens the lives of millions across the world. In season 2, Joe is forced to leave seclusion to find those who conspired to kill his uncle, and reveal the mole.
In 2019, while working on season 2 of Condor, I championed and pushed for a design that I had originally created during season 1. I knew that my original designs for the PR Kit and brochure needed to have a structural look and feel that would tie in perfectly with the show's Russian espionage/spy theme, and the client finally agreed.
In addition to the PR Kit, I also conceptualized, designed and animated original organic social media content. I used bold type treatments, gallery and stock images, and custom videos. The final work was not only cohesive with our print campaign, but also visually alluring.

Social Media Content
Using the gallery images from our shoot, character quotes, graphic backgrounds and stop motion animations, I was able to create a cohesive feel that was carried throughout our multi-platform social campaign.
Public Relations Kit
My design concepts and mock-ups consisted of a sleek black square box with hinged double doors, which opened to revel a flip panel that contained secret codes printed in gloss varnish. A graphic brochure is reveled, along with the shows logo and additional messaging regarding the premiere date and tagline. In addition, the box carried a premium giveaway and USB which contained episodes from season 2.
The brochure was a simple square saddle-stitched piece that when opened reveled the cast, on individual die-cut step pages (see my comprehensives below). The big question in season two was “Who is the Mole,” so I knew I needed to play more with that question. I built the step treatment into the brochure in order to help convey the feelings of uncertainty and revelation which would lead to clues, and make connections between the characters in the show.
