Verizon's goal was to always improve business relationships in order to expand business. The CRM system provided data that helped target preexisting and potential customers, and provided them with special offers and rewards. 
Basically, Verizon created new programs that rewarded their customers, which later resulted in customer loyalty and retension.​​​​​​​
